Another meh :( Day.
I totally made the mistake to stay up too late last night. Obviously, I couldn’t get up early to work out this morning and now I’m still at work, dreading to go home and have to work out. Usually, I’d just take a rest day, but I already did that yesterday when I had to cancel the gym appointment last minute.
It’s surprise Shark Week and I feel accordingly (i. e just not...

Eeeep. Stayed up one hour longer than I should have because I caught up with Tumblr (as you can probably tell from the flood of posts in your dash!) Getting up for a workout tomorrow will be hard, especially since I had my rest day today. Not good.

Gorgeous set of pictures. Even “fit bodies” come in all shapes and sizes. It’s OK if we don’t have all the same measurements.

Today was my first day back at work and two awesome things happened:
1) One of my colleagues said I’d lost a lot of weight.
2) I had ordered the Squink Shirt at hitrecord.org a while ago and it arrived today. I ordered it in a Large because they said it’ll shrink after first washing. When I unpacked the shirt and held it to my body, another colleague said “Are you sure you...

Good news: Yoga makes you taller

Ha. I suppose that’s one way to lower your BMI.
I totally agree! As people age, their posture gets worse. Mine has stayed more or less the same or has improved. I have known this guy for over 10 years and when we first met, he was taller than me by an inch. Now I’m a little taller than him.
Yaaaaaaaaaaay! Maybe one day I will be tiny + 1”. (Not that I have...

XXL portions
I’m watching a TV show where they’re showing restaurants that offer xxl portions and the host (a huge, obese guy), just ate 1 kilo (about 2 lbs) of pizza. And that was only half of it. I’m feeling sick just watching that.
It’s ridiculous how on the one hand, the media tells us that we all need to be a size 0, but on the other hand, it promotes such poor nutrition and...

Workout Madness
I’ve been pretty crazy about working out this week since I was on vacation and had more time than usual that I could dedicate to working out. It felt really awesome and I wish I had more time in general. I loved pushing my body and even though it sounds stupid, I feel like I’ve improved my fitness during this week.
Here’s the breakdown:

Tuesday
